Is it ever going to be possible to connect the djay pro iPad app with a wifi drive and load the track directly on the turn table? Even better, to connect it to the app, scan the drive so djay has waveforms, save cue points and keys?

it always depends on which drive you are using.
There are supported external wifi hard drives which are accessible via the djay Pro “My Files” section.
