Djay2/Android main mix silent with split output enabled (Griffin splitter)

I’m using a Griffin splitting cable with djay2 on Android. When enabling split output sound only comes to the precue channel, when the crossfader is all the way across the main output channel is silent. I don’t believe this to be a problem with the splitter cable as when I just listen to the output in stereo I can hear the precue coming from one speaker and nothing of the main mix. This is the case with headphones or the built in speakers.

System: Lenovo TAB 4 Plus (TB-X704F)
OS: Android 7.1.1
Notes: DOLBY ATMOS is turned off, as is mono output in Accessibility settings.
