How do I enable pre-cueing using an external USB sound card on djay Pro for Windows?

I’m using djay Pro for Windows 10, a Numark Mixtrack 3 controller, and a Sabrent USB External Stereo Sound Adapter which I previously used with Virtual DJ 8 with no difficulty. I’m trying to set myself up so that I can hear my cue through the headphones plugged into the USB sound adapter and my main channel through my PC’s speakers, but I’m having trouble finding the proper settings for this. Help please?

Hey Chris Carrion,

at the moment it is not possible to select the USB external stereo sound adapter as Pre Cueing channel. I am sorry for that. I spoke with our developers and we added this to our agenda.
I will keep you posted about the outcomes.

Apparently you have to use a sound card or audio interface with at least four channels (see http://community.algoriddim.com/algor…)

In that case, how do I pre-cue a song using djay pro for Windows? I’d hate to feel like I wasted $50 on a useless product.

Hi Lukas, for me this is a very important component for a dj software. Will this feature be added in the future ?
