Mixon 4 very first testing

I just get my new Reloop Mixon 4 console. I tested it and found some little problems:

  1. On Djay Pro v1.0.4 for iPad (iPad Air2 64GB iOS 9.3.5)

a. Fader START/STOP (Shift + channel fader up/down) doesn’t work
b. Open sampler view (Shift + SAMPLER button) doesn’t work
c. CF Curve position 1 and 2 have no efect to slope curve - is the same
d. Shift + LOAD 1 and 3 button doesn’t work

  1. On Djay 2 v2.8.4 for iPad (iPad Air2 64GB iOS 9.3.5)

a. CF Curve position 1 and 2 have no efect to slope curve - is the same
b. Open sampler view (Shift + SAMPLER button) doesn’t work

  1. On Djay 2 v2.8.4 for iPhone (iPhone 6S 128GB iOS 10.1.1)

a. Fader START/STOP (Shift + channel fader up/down) doesn’t work
b. Open sampler view (Shift + SAMPLER button) doesn’t work
c. PITCH control moving will cause a waveform freeze

And please, I really miss the Brake function from BeadPad1 console (Shift + JUMP) . Nice day.

There are more things that don’t work. Key shifting for example.

Is this going to be fixed?

Also I’d love to have a preference to enable fader start by default. This is especially handy in a 2 decks / 4 faders setup IMO.

I have the latest ios and wil test the functions in the topic start is an few minutes.

Tested, with mixon 4, the things you mention in the topic start don’t work. Ipad air, latest ios. Probably just not programmed.

On iOS 10+ was and still is problems with Beatpad 2.

I just answered why I have iOS 9.3.5 on iPad. You are right, this topic is about Mixon 4 problems.

Any of you guys tried Mixon 4 with DJPP?

Let me know how you get on. If you go to the DJPP community app and Check out Kalo as he has all the init and sysex info that enables the knobs and faders to be 1-1. In other words just how you left them when you restart (they don’t reset) which is so cool and useful.

Have u thought of getting your iPad onto iOS 10+

I see you’ve stated it’s on iOS 9.3.5

My experience has been similar with my iPad Pro w/ djay Pro and Reloop Mixon 4.

1-a: I did notice this feature works properly using djay 2.
1-b: Doesn’t work.
1-c: You may need to adjust the cf. There’s a firmware utilities settings document on Reloops site that provides instructions.
1-d: This is only suppose to work on Mac.
