Wet/Dry FX for iDJ Pro

Hey Warren - so I was stoked to see the FX wet/dry slider, but then…I plugged into my idj pro and…what?!..not there?!..
That’s OK, I said to myself, it must be coming soon…yes? no?..

Hi,

Rest assured that we’re aware of this.

Hi Everyone,

We just released an update djay 2.6 for iPad and iPhone containing many improvements including a new FX panel with a wet/dry fader.
Tap on “FX” on the iPad to open the panel and access the wet/dry fader.

We’d appreciate your feedback on this feature and the update in general.

Any news on implementing the wet/ dry fader on the iDJ pro?

Yes, I’m sure you are - it’s very impressive how well Algoriddim responds to suggestions. The new update is really excellent, and the only problem with the Sugar Beats FX is that it’s going to be hard not to over-use them!

Excellent. Thanks for that. It’s not the easiest thing to use in the heat of battle but there’s nothing more you could have done without a spare knob on the controller!

The beat grid re-analysis is great too. I wasn’t sure what was happening, to begin with!

I’ll write more when I’ve had a bit more time to play with it.

Here’s another thought, though. I tend to sort by BPM, as that seems to me to be the main criterion for a smooth transition (harmonic matching is of course ideal, but it is easy enough to find something in a suitable key so long as you’re in the right zone BPM-wise). Is it not possible to highlight the most suitable keys when searching in BPM mode? And I’m not just talking about the same key - rather, also, the three most harmonious alternatives? Doesn’t sound like too much programming to me heh heh heh.
