Thank you for the windows version of Djay Pro! Unfortunately the integration of Spotify doesn’t work at all. If you play a song, it stops in the middle or last third of the song and starts again at the beginning…very annoying if you want to use Djay pro as a DJ device.

thank you for the follow up. Can you tell me which computer is not working well and does the restarting? Also hardware specifications would be very helpful.
Is your desktop computer not having the restart issue?
Also it would be cool if you can check if the problem is also occurring with different Spotify bitrates (btw. which one are you using at the moment?), you can find the bitrate setting via djay Pro Settings -> Media Library Settings.

Happens to me always. I want to know the solution before buying Djay Pro Official.
Yes, it happens every time. It’s approximately after two thirds of the song and it happens only with Spotify.

you can watch the video with the following link.
The track starts again at 23 seconds remaining and it ends according to the shown wave (you don’t have to watch the whole 3 minutes ;-))
And as I said this happens with every song after a certain period of time.
Additionally I think that the sound quality with spotify is very poor even with the settings on “high”. It crackles a lot.

No, I don’t listen to the song repetitively. It’s only you can’t say if the song stops after half of it or later

Yes, every song is affected.
Could it possibly be that this problem has got something to do with the graphics card? If I run djay pro with full size window, my cpu is at 98%,90% of the capacity being used by djay pro.
If the window is smaller, it’s down to 80%.
In addition to that djay pro works fine on my desktop computer…

it seems that the problem with the restarting isn’t there anymore. Did you do an update??
I checked every bitrate and it didn’t happen again.
The only remaining problem is the enormous use of CPU capacity wich makes my Acer Travelmate 5742 seem to burn… If I start Djay pro the app uses about 80% of the CPU’s capacity and the core temperature goes up to 80°, so I’m afraid my notebook won’t stand this temperature for long.
My notebook has got an intel i3-370M processor at 2.4GHz and 4GB DDR3 memory and Intel HD Graphics with up to 1051 MB DVMT
My desktop computer has got a Intel core 2 Duo at 2.93 GHz and 4 GB DDR3 memory and a NVIDIA Geforce GTS 450
So I think the GPU of the notebook might be the problem…
I hope this will help you. If you have more questions don’t hesitate to ask because it would be nice if I could use djay pro on my notebook (that’s why I bought it :-))

I also have this problem, cant figure out how to fix it…
I’ve had a similar problem with some songs. E.g. Tesla Boy - Neon Love (song starts from the beginning with 2:08 remaining), Daft Punk - One More Time (starts from the beginning with 0:16 remaining). I think there were a few others, but I forgot which ones. This is on Djay Pro Lite.
I figured out that at least for me, the problem occurs with each song after the 5:05 mark. At that point the sound starts from the beginning of the song although visually (the soundwave) the song looks the way it should be. I.e. after 5:05 the sound and the visual portrayal don’t match. Happens with every song after 5:05 minutes, and songs shorter than that are ok.
Did any of you solve this problem yet, because I seem to have the same problem. very songs stops at 2:30 minutes and starts over again. This way I can’t use the software. Hope I didn’t spent my €50,00 for nothing.
