Trim problems with DDJ 400 on OS X High Sierra using djay Pro 2

Hello everyone…

I recently bought a Pioneer DDJ 400 to use it with djay pro 2 ver 2.0.14 on OS X High Sierra (10.13.6).

Everything works great, but i get some tiring behavior. it hapens with the trim controllers on each chanel.

Without touching them phisically on the DDJ 400, djay pro 2 changes its values on the interface (note this: just in the interface, the tracks keep playing at the same volume).

This is a problem becourse when you want to do something with the trim, whe you rotate a little bit the trim controller on the DDJ 400, there’s a sudden change in the volume, to the value that corresponds with the one on the position that the knob of the trim is in the controller.

I guess the problem comes with some interferences from the MIDI signals send/read by the DDJ 400/djpro 2.

Someone come across with this problem? Any suggestions?

Thanks

Hi Jesus,

Thank you for getting in touch.

Do you refer to the Reset EQ setting (djay Pro settings > General)?

How is djay affecting the Trim?
