Unexpected response from spotify error

Hi,

The last two days when I try to connect to spotify on DJPro 2 its comes up with an unexpected response from server error, can you help please?

it is starting to be a problem: it was the feature I used the most and now it is frustrating. we should be refund if this is not solved, and it seems it will not be…

I am having this issue for quite some time now. I understand that you guys are working on the issue but that answer, in itself, is not good enough. The only reason why I subscribe to Spotify Premium is because of it’s reported “seamless” integration with Djay 2, using an 128 gig iPad Air.

I have not been able to use said integration for quite some time now, however, I am still being billed for a product that is defective. What plans are in place to credit user’s for the time that it has taken for this defect to be fixed? Or, do I need to cancel my subscription for now until the problem is resolved?

First off, DJ Ivan, unless you are part of the software development team for Algoriddim, your comments are not only useless, but they are falling upon death ears. If my post was read properly, it clearly states that I am referring to “Spotify Premium”, which is a subscription service.

Secondly, I posted on this forum, for it is the Djay 2 app that seems to have the problem, not the Spotify Premium service, hence why there are multiple responses from Lucas E (an employee), indicating that “they”, not you, are working on the problem.

My intention here was to possibly get an “official” response from the software developer, not someone who is a consumer of Algoriddim’s goods and services, like myself.

Thanks Lukas and appreciate your prompt and official response… I see that the update has been shipped. I’m gonna wait a bit and monitor the chatter about it to see if it’s safe and hasn’t affected anything else.

How are you billed? Djay for ipad is no subscription program, you have bought the app, thats it, isn’t it?

Just be a bit patient for the fix, when they say its on its way, it is.

When you don’t like being billed by spotify, complain on their forums, or ask for credit users over there.

Please update - is it likely to be weeks, months, years or never? I have bought a new iPad Pro and Reloop Mixtour for this specific functionality and now your product has stopped functioning!

I’ve been receiving the same error for the past week: “Unexpected response from Spotify”. It typically appears when I use the “Match” function on either my iPhone, iPad or Mac.

How bout, actually mixing and picking your own songs like real and old djs do until problem is solved lol (jk) seriously tho, hope its fixed soon, dont want to pay 30 bucks subscription for virtual dj and drag my laptop out again…
