Vinyl grooves would show actual audio data, not arbitrary "tracks"

Currently the spinning vinyl discs depict LPs with 6 “tracks”, separated by sightly darker rings, which would be where the grooves widened between individual tracks.

This results in a realistic depiction of an average LP, but isn’t very realistic given that the actual tracks we’re dragging onto each deck take up an entire single side of vinyl.

Would it therefore be more helpful to analyse the MP3 audio, and render darker grooves for quieter sections of the track, to try to represent 1) a realistic view of what the grooves might actually be like and 2) something that is more than just “nice” to look at, but might be quite helpful?
