5 months since the last update.... Terrible!

If people only knew that the product is update this infrequently, they would never invest in it.

Time to start posting reviews on the app store everyone!

If you are reading this and you happen to agree with me, please indicate that you have a problem with this too… or they will do nothing.

Actually, they don’t do anything no matter what we do, but it won’t hurt to try.

Jason, we actually agree… there is hope!

I use Serato because it does support total eq kills… DJpro is my top 40/request software because it works with Spotify. If algoriddim would fix the eq issue i would probably use it a lot more. For the price you really cannot find a program that streams music for djing. I know pluselocker is available for Serato but I like being able to create playlist on my iPhone in Spotify and it automatically being available in DJay pro when I open it. It’s very convenient and make my top40s and request situation a lot easier since I don’t spend my money on top 40 tracks.

I’m about to change … Serato or Traktor or Virtual DJ? Any recommendations?

Thanks for the hints.

Ive got reloop beatpad and neon … Used traktor and virtual dj before but never serato … Might give it a try and see how i get along with it

Thanks for the feedback.

@dysfunk … I use reloop beatpad and reloop neon (i reprogrammed it to djay pro) … So i could easily go either serato or traktor. I got the demo version of traktor downloaded but i cant get along with it for some reason … More practise maybe

Serato is always my first choice. Rekordbox DJ or Traktor would be second. Rekordbox DJ is great and being I JUST got the new Pioneer NXS setup I am forced to use it until Serato or Traktor added support. Now that Pio has its own software who even knows if this will happen for sure.

If you are looking for a full featured Pro DJ app then Serato or Rekordbox DJ is the choice for sure especially if you are a performance DJ.

If you are looking for more remix or production style then Traktor is the answer.

If you are looking for simple a/b mixing with user friendly and easy to learn style then VDJ is for you and is very similar to Djay Pro in that sense.

DJ Stub - I switched from Traktor. Over the years I had the S4, F1 and S2 mk2. Overall it was good. Had issues at times with pops and crackles (Windows) on my 2010 mbp it worked great with 4 decks, effects and remix decks. Haven’t really tested stems so can’t say about that. I did use the Traktor DJ app and it was ok. I found analysing old skool tracks was often wrong and there arnt any nudge buttons. In the end I found their app outdated, not good my my style of music and a bit boring. Plus it’s not been updated for over a year now. I thought it was 2 years but it’s 1. Which isn’t great. NI have just released a new update for Traktor Pro 2 software which is getting mixed reviews. What controller (s) do you have?

Have tried Serato and Virtual DJ and comparatively - they suck. Would be nice to get updates faster, but all things considered, I have a LOT of software that gets updated even less frequently that is way more buggy than djay Pro.
