Analyze does not work on Playlists added in My library

Hi,
Right now Playlist creation is seriously broken:

  1. When you create a playlist in “My Library” by moving a Spotify playlist to the upper panel, none of the songs get their BPM & Keys in the newly created playlist.

  2. Even when trying to Analyze, by selecting Analyze in the library menu, when clicking on the “start” button, it ends immediately, and nothing has changed in the playlist.
    Can you fix this?
    Regards,
    Marc

hello
this problem is still present on the latest Djay… any news about it ?

The only workaround I found was playing my entire library to force DJay Pro to analyze each song played …

Just tried on Djay Pro 2 2.0.11 for Mac, still same issue.
Button immediately switches from Cancel to Start, no song is analyzed in the playlist.

Sorry, I should have clarified that all songs are from Spotify, NONE from iTunes.

Jean-Paul, I assume this thread is still related to djay Pro 2 for Mac. Analyze library has been improved to support custom playlists a while ago. I just double checked on the latest version and it works fine. Please note though that songs from Spotify can’t be analyzed offline, as they have to be loaded onto a deck for analysis to be triggered.

Hope this helps.

Video would be very helpful. Can you also please confirm that all songs in the playlist you are trying to analyze are songs from iTunes (and none of them from Spotify)? Thanks in advance.

Thanks for clarifying. That’s indeed not supported unfortunately.

Hi there,

thank you for pointing this out.

I added this to our issue tracking system and a fix is on its way.

Hi Markouchio,

I am very sorry to hear that. Can you please send us an exemplary video of the issue via support@algoriddim.com?

Thank you in advance.

Cheers,Lukas E.

Hello, this might be because I have the trial version but this is still a problem.

I am having the same issue. I get the BPM and Keys, but when I go to analyze it just goes from “start” to “cancel” on button.
