DDJ-SR Pioneer | Pitch and Gain issue

Hi,

I recently switched from Serato to Djay Pro, using Pioneer DDJ-SR as controller.
My issues:

  1. it’s not possible to simply slide the pitch slider on the DDJ-SR when sync button is active. I first have to quickly move the slider up and down to make it active/respond
  2. when loading a track, I have to quickly turn the gain button left/right to kind of reset the gain.

In preferences:

  • Reset (EQ, effects, controls) => OFF
  • Reset Sync Mode => ON
  • Auto Gain => OFF
  • Audio Limiter => OFF

Are these settings ok?

Working on MacBook Pro, all the latest software, firmware and updates.

I have set eq and gain to on. The others to off.
