DJ Pro with Win10 and extended with IPad

Hey, I just buyed DJ Pro for Win10. Great Programm with Spotify integration.
I use it with my Pioneer Controller and everthing works fine, except the fact, that the offline mode with spotify is missing. Come on algoriddim… fix this.
Now I ́m wondering if someone ever tried to use an Ipad as an extended hardware.
Just for the fx-pad function for example.
Greetings

Hey there,

we can not support the offline usage of Spotify due to ‘Sandboxing’ a security feature.

Thank you for your understanding.

Cheers,Lukas E.

Hey Gerd Gerd,

at the moment we are unable to support the usage of two devices with djay Pro for Windows.
We are sorry that there is no workaround here right now, but be assured that this is on our agenda.

Cheers,Lukas E.

It’s not broken Spotify has never worked offline.

It tells you when you first log into Spotify that you need an internet connection. I’m not sure if that will ever change best solution I’ve seen is to use your phone as a Wi-Fi hotspot.

I know, sorry for my bad english.
What I meant to say: If you are a DJ, you don ́t have wifi at every location.
And I haven ́t seen a statemant from algoriddim yet, why they can ́t enable the offline mode.

Hey,
Is there any option to use 2 audiodevices?
I have a hardware controller (pioneer dj ssb 2) and an external soundcard ( focusrite saffire pro 14)
I want to have the main mix output on the soundcard and the pre-listening on the pioneer controller. I can’t find any settings to route the signals.
It would be nice if someone could help me.

Hi guys,

so my Spotify must have an active internet connection all the time to use the Spotify integration in Djay Pro?
or is it enough when Spotify connects for a short moment to the internet that i can use the offline Songs? Just like “Hello, I have internet, I ́m a Premium Account, now u can use me offline”

That would be a buying decision for me…
