Would be nice to do large/complete music and video database analysis on djay for Mac in iTunes, then sync/transfer those same files to my iPad and have djay/vjay recognize those files as having been fully analyzed. Would save time and processing power on the iPad!
Nice idea, but that wouldn’t really work with a large library [40GB/6,000+ tracks]. Woould have to leave it running for more than overnight since the tracks have to play enough to allow the next track to be analyzed.
there might be a workaround 
I made a playlist with all my files on the ipad and then I activated automix overnight… in the morning there were all analyzed.
I do have both djay for mac and for ipad and I fully agree with you on the topic.
