File names not appearing correctly.

I have some music which was sent to me as an m4a. I converted it to mp3. DJ Pro (Mac) only displays the song name, even if I change the file name. How do I get DJ Pro to display the file name?

Hi Chris, looks like that your tags are not correct.
I use mp3tag for mac to complete the tags and do it in this way that filename=tagname. so all songs has "%artist%-%title%.mp3.
Maybe this helps.

Hi Chris Burghardt,

have you tried opening the files in iTunes and changing there track information via Right-click -> Get Info?
