How come I see the files icon on my iPhone but not iPad?

Never mind I just figured it out, the iPhone is on iOS 13 that has Files & Folders under privacy settings whereas the iPad on iOS 12 does not have that option.

Thank you for getting in touch.

As you already noted, the new Files integration works with the new Feature of iOS 13 and therefore, only with devices working with iOS 13.
