Hide the library on djay Pro for Mac like on iPad

I would love to see the possibility to hide the library on djay Pro for Mac like on iPad (see image) so that one can see maxed out vertical waveform.

Traktor call it the Browser View. You press the space bar, and the decks collapse to just show the library. You can also MIDI map a control to toggle Browser View.

Hey steve4711,

thank you for your idea. I forwarded this internally and it would be great if other users share their feelings about the topic.
Also one question comes to my mind, how would you like to access the library if library is hidden fully, we can not implement a “Load Track” button like in the iPad version, so you would have to superimpose the library every time you want to load a track.

Cheers,Lukas E.

Hi Lukas, thanks for your fast reply. On Traktor, I always hided the library completely. There you can access it by hitting space and it shows up fullscreen.
(I think on djay it’s return to show the library fullscreen?)
For me, it was no problem to do that everytime.
Maybe it’s even possible to only show the library on the side/deck you want to load the track? (Decks 1 & 3 on the left, 2 & 4 on the right).
I try to create a little mockup for that later.
