As Mafred said, there are many video tutorials that might help you. If you still want to pay someone, go for it, it might help you be more confident.
However, since you mentioned this being a big party and that you are (possibly) using Spotify only, I strongly suggest you to make sure that the internet connection is super reliable (and possibly to have some sort of backup solution in place), you never know.
