iOS - cannot use accessory

Hi I have a Vestax vci300 mk2 to use with the iOS version of djay pro and it doesn’t connect.

I have bought a plug for the Vestax and set it to power from this, I have connected to a lightning via usb camera connector but when connected the iPhone it says ‘cannot use accessory - vci 300 dj controller: this accessory requires too much power’.

Is there something I am missing or need to change?.

you probably need to use a powered USB Hub for that to work. This way you are also not drawing too much power from the iphone.
