Is Djay Pro Compatible with OS X 10.12 Sierra?

I am wondering if Djay Pro is compatible with OS X 10.12 Sierra?

Also make sure you are searching the playlist and not iTunes.

David,

I am not trying to scare you but at a recent wedding, I had the system completely STOP playing during the brides dance, when using Djay Pro.

They have no clue what is wrong and I sent them pictures and video over 5 months ago.

So, if you think it’s okay to use this software, go ahead but my experiences were VERY bad. When the developers can’t even figure out their own software, there is a HUGE problem.

Jim,

Not trying to scare you but I had a huge problem at a wedding too.

They have no clue what is wrong and I sent them pictures and video over 5 months ago.

So, if you think it’s okay to use this software, go ahead but my experiences were VERY bad. When the developers can’t even figure out their own software, there is a HUGE problem.

You are waiting 3 days but I am nearing my 6th MONTH waiting for something to be fixed, where they can’t even figure out what is wrong.

Use this software at your own discretion. I have shared my issue.

Scott

I too am glad they are working on a fix. Us haters have reasons to be upset. When your sound goes completely out in front of a bride and her father and in front of 200 people, would you not be upset?

Huh? No one has ever said it crashed. When the music cuts out, it is disastrous during an event, as you could understand.

Having waited for 7 months for ANY fixes at all, should be frustrating to you as well. So, yes, there are several people who are haters. We paid money for software that should work and for most users, there are problems.

First of all, yes. I have tried Sierra. Same result. I have the same problem on an 2015 iMac with 1TB internal SSD and a 2013 MacBook Pro with 1tb SSD internal HD.

I don’t use external drives, ever, so that is not the problem.

I have tried Denon controllers, Pioneer, American DJ…

And I assure you, MANY users have left and abandoned this software because of ZERO support. If you honestly think it’s okay for a software company to take 7 months to ADDRESS any problems, then you are part of the problem.

You can play “fan boy” all you want but when you are standing up in front of your clients and the music just stops, don’t come crying on this page because NOTHING will be done.

You are a fan boy. If people sit back and say nothing, then nothing gets done. I complain and they still do nothing.

Also, when you say that someone is not mature, you should spell your words correctly. I have been testing software for 17 years. Trust me when I tell you, the squeaky wheel gets the grease. You keep staying quiet and see what gets done.

They know how I feel. I have found and reported more bugs in this software than you can imagine. Many of the things that work now are because I spoke up.

So, you are darn right. It is my right to complain as much as I want. I am a paying customer. So, they either fix the software or listen to me complain. I would much rather them fix the software.

You are bitching to someone that “speaks up” for the betterment of the software. I speak up for YOU and for everyone else and now you are blaming ME for bashing? Makes absolutely no sense!

Lucas, when might an update be coming out?

Having this same issue with the hotkeys - but I am also having intermittent issues with my library, where songs take a while to load (the ever so scary spinning circle during a mix with an unresponsive program) and then sometimes crashing.

Good to hear you guys are working on a fix. Too bad some haters turn a lot of topics in to something negative. I hoped they were gone by now…

It does not crash on my 7 jr old macbook.

I dont’t think most users have problems. I think there are hundreds of thousands of users. You don’t see them here.
I have never had a audio drop out on pro for mac. Maybe its your hardware. You use a dennon don’t you? Try a Pioneer some day if you can. Who knows… could solve youre problems. In one of the other topics, some problems were solved by hooking up a powerd usb splitter. Maybe that does the job for you.

By the way. You are joining this topic about a OSx Siera question and you post something about a 5 month old problem. Have you tried Siera? I did. Worked great on a 4/5 hour test. Did not test the search bar. Can’t comment on that.

I hope you have more luck with different software. In my opinion, you are a hater, bashing a lot of topics where users ask questions or report issues. Your reactions are not verry helpfull, not verry mature. Only putting the company in a bad daylight. Calling a happy user fanboy tells more about you then about me. Good luck for now, see you at youre next roast…

Why don’t you try spelling in my language… see how you handle that…

I did not see a Djay Pro update.

Same problem… this happens every time Apple updates OS. good thing I don’t have a gig tonight

Hi Chris Scheer,

we tested OS X 10.12 Sierra in detail and can say that the new operating system is fully supporting djay Pro.

Cheers,
Lukas E.

Hi there,

that is very interesting, can you try to reproduce and record that issue and send us the video to support@algoriddim.com?

Cheers,
