Question: How is it that if I delete Djay from my MAC and all associated folders and files, restart, then reinstall Djay … IT STILL uses an outdated iTunes Playlist. Djay will not update from iTunes. Any ideas out there MAC Djay users?
Thanks for the reply. I have been using this software for a long time. I know about this option and it does not work any more. Nothing will update the playlists and I can’t figure out where Djay is getting the outdates playlist from.

Go to the Algoriddim site and then to the pre snow leopard version page. Download the demo version so it does not come from the Apple App Store. Then install it. Then use your license number the make the verizon full function. Problem solved.

Why did you delete/reinstall? When you add songs to iTunes or create new/update your playlists, go back to Djay, got to the Library menu, go to the bottom and select Refresh Library. You can even do it as you are playing, doesn’t affect the software.

having the same problem over here , been using it for awhile now , then one day it just doesnt refresh anymore or i can only see 10 out of 100 tracks in dj app but all 100 are working fine in itunes .
im thinking erase your playlist from itunes folder and check in that area for trails and crumbs of old music and playlist . just because you reinstalled djay doesnt mean the music your pulling from itunes is gonna change . hope this helps . peace and keep djing.

I am having the same problem- the update function is not working, and djay is inexplicably only showing old iTunes playlists, from several years ago…

I still can’t get this to work right. The only version I can find to download is 4.2.1, so I downloaded it from the website, not the App store, and installed it. It’s the demo version, but is still showing me only old iTunes playlists. I also don’t have seem to have a license key number since I originally got it from the App store…

Download the trial of djay pro today and this problem still exists in 2016! It found an old playlist which has been updated since and much before I first installed the djay pro software.
The refresh library doesn’t work. Is this software and the support any good?
