Problem recording mixes

Very often when I'm recording a mix on DJ2 for Ipad, even though the red light record button will remain on throughout the mix, once I've finished and load the mix to a turntable it will only have recorded half (or sometimes less!) than the actual length. This is extremely frustrating as it's completely random and means I keep having to re do my mixes. At first I thought it was a space issue but I've freed up lots of space (now have 6.5 gb available) but it still happens. Any ideas? Anyone else experiencing the same thing?

Hi Said Durra,

we are very sorry to hear that.

Could you please tell us which device, operating system and djay version you are using, so we start a testing routine at our office?

Thank you in advance.

Cheers,
Lukas E.

Thanks for getting back to me Lukas.

I use DJ2 on an Ipad 2. My Ipad has been a bit buggy recently as it only had a few gigs left of space but even when I freed up space it was still happening. In the end I deleted the app and reinstalled it, and I was able to record ok but the problem is I lost all the data analysis of all my music. Is there any way of getting that info back without re analysing my whole library? There were so many tunes that I had readjusted and it would be a real bane if I have to do it again!

Cheers,

Said

Hi Said,

thank you for your follow up.
Are you using djay on another platform like a Mac?
Also did you used djay with an active iCloud drive in the past?

Thank you in advance.
Cheers,

Lukas E.

Hi Lukas,

I have the original Djay app on my phone (I only upgraded to Deejay2 on my Ipad) but neither on my macbook.

I did use Djay with an active iCloud drive in the past.

Cheers,

Said

I am having the same problem with Djay ver 4.2.3 on a MacBook Pro. Recording starts...runs with time and when I stop it, nothing.

Hey also having trouble with my mixes being recorded, i'll go back and listen to the mix and there will be no sound what so ever. In the recording I can obviously hear the music while I am mixing it in, and it registers to on the master volume as coming through. Running on my macbook air, DJ Pro2 most recent software update.

I've had this same thing suddenly to start happening and I've done what most of the others who have responded did. I've been using it well over a year. I'm at the place where I'm seriously looking into Serato Pro if I can't get some solution to this problem.
