Very simple question, I have a Macbook Pro, I love the Spotify Integration, but do I actually have to have Spotify downloaded to my Mac, at the moment I have all the playlists downloaded in the Spotify App, then I got thinking if Djay Pro is logged in online do I really need the Spotify App at all on my Mac as it’s only reading songs online? I use my itunes for back up…
Short answer is no. If you do need to change a Spotify setting you can go into spotify via web page. I do not have the Spotify app on my MAC just my phone.
