Your question: how do you add folders into djay pro? Before you could only add files into playlists now lets you add folders. I can’t see how you can add a folder into djay where it matches your folder structure in files on my phone or iPad. I can add folders into My Collection but it doesn’t add them as folders just puts 1000’s tracks into my collection. What’s the point of that when I have say 80’s folders 80’ 81’ 82 etc.

The function doesn’t create a playlist with the folder name (like in serato), rather the function was introduced to save time if you have tracks in multiple folders so you can add them without having to open individual folders. It’s a shorter workflow - now u can just drag n drop an entire external drive onto djay.
If you want need your folder hierarchies to reflect in djay, then use files section
