I have limitation in votes but +1 from me too
This is the major thing holding me back from switching. I understand that this is a two way street with SoundSwitch but, if SoundSwitch and DJay could work something out, this would be game changing for mobile DJs.
Let’s keep this post fresh! Is this in the mix @Slak_Jaw ? Really need this feature to complete my setup! Thanks!
Hi @megaman24, thanks for continuing to push this topic. I have shared your feedback with the dev team. In the meantime, please make sure to Vote at the top left of this page. Thanks!
Another +1 here for SoundSwitch integration. DjayPro will benefit immensely having this added. 3years of us begging - that’s just madness!!
I searched for “SoundSwitch” in this forum because I’ve been using it with Ableton link as a work around and found out that using it that way has been causing a BPM bug that syncs to a master BPM that stays the same until resetting.
I’m chiming in because I recently recommended to all of the DJs in my multi-op to make the switch from Serato to Djay, and now I’m thinking about reverting my suggestion. Djay is ready for primetime in so many ways, but because we are reliant on systems in place like SoundSwitch it takes a huge step back.
For what it’s worth, please count me in as +1 for SoundSwitch integration.
Soundswitch update has come out, it’s not yet supported by Djay, but now at least you can use it without Ableton Link, just with ambient sound or through a sound card, with this you can stop the sound when the bpm is not up, instead of continuing beating without sound like it was in Ableton, that’s half the battle.
Thanks for sharing @DJ_Reinaldo_Hits
Soundswitch would be such an amazing addition to DJay, and if they could also get support for Pangolin Quick show then we’d be on an another level.
It’s 2025 and we’re still waiting on full SoundSwitch support
Just wanted to bump and share that this would still be a feature appreciated by many. Yes there is Ableton Link, yes SoundSwitch now has BPM detect via mic, but true full SoundSwitch support with DJay would still be super helpful. Thanks team!
Thanks for the feedback and for continuing to push this suggestion @djmikelujan
+1 for Soundswitch implantation
I double +100 on this one! Would be amazing to get Soundswitch support. Much appreciated team. Thanks!
I’ve recently been exploring better lighting control solutions, and I have to say — SoundSwitch looks awesome and really intuitive to work with. But… it seems like there are some forces at play preventing a proper partnership between Djay and SoundSwitch. It’s a bit disappointing, honestly.
Anyway, I still hope that someday this will work out for the community. It would be a game-changer to have smooth integration between Djay and SS.
Thanks for the additional input @Fermioncool
Or maybe you implement your own DMX lighting solution into djay pro. Maybe an even better one. You have all track informations from your stems separation. That are the most important parts for a great (automatic) light show.
The only thing that is missing are the fixtures and a way how to combine DMX signal and “stem movements” ![]()
hey @Slak_Jaw can you give us any insight into the why here? is there some sort of conflict or licensing issue at play that’s preventing forward movement, or is it the devs simply have other more pressing issues/ideas?
Hi @heysoundude, sorry, but I cannot provide any insight here. I will push this topic with the dev team again though.
Hello everyone,
I’m a new Djay Pro user, 99% of the time I’m happy with it, I just need soundswtich to make everything perfect… the only reason I keep using virtualDJ and Serato alternately when the light show is important.
So I’m posting this in the hope of making some progress on the subject, and I’d like to thank the development team in advance for their consideration.
