YOUR QUESTION

I’m looking at the Rev 7 as I like the layout. I’ve just seen how the latest firmware to rev 7 allows stem eq, stems on top pads and and stem split. Do we know if this has been mapped in Djay Pro?

@Slak_Jaw hi mate. Can you ask engineering team if they managed to map it out as like it is now natively with Serato. I could map myself the neural mix split but when the engineers do their custom mapping it seems to work more fluid than a personal. I’ve seen a nearly new rev 7 for great money and looking to see if can be mapped out. Latest firmware allows for it. Also can work with iOS without screens of course but platter sticker will be just fine for that. See if you can get an answer my man. If engineers haven’t yet mapped it out, would they consider. I can map the neural mix pads myself if will just be the split as their custom just works better.

Hey @Dysfunk_DJ, let me check with the hardware team and get back to you…

You’re welcome!

Hi @Dysfunk_DJ, we checked and can confirm that NM EQs and NM Pads are already mapped. However, STEMs Split is not. I do explain how I mapped this myself in the linked topic below though:

Thanks @Slak_Jaw but when we do it like that it’s clunky. Sometimes it works and sometimes it doesn’t. When the hardware team have done like on flx 10 or rev 5 it just works every time. If they could take a look that would be amazing.

I’ve changed your topic from a Question to a Suggestion and will pass it onto our devs.

Thanks man. Hopefully they will see the value in it.
