A) SUMMARY OF ISSUE:
The app works fine on my Apple Watch but not the next previous function when I’m in a Spotify playlist.

B) DETAILED STEPS TO REPRODUCE:

  • Open the app on the your iPhone
  • Open a playlist from Spotify
  • Add a song to desk 1 / desk 2
  • Open the app on the Apple Watch
  • Click on the icon of the desk 1 / desk 2
  • It show’s two arrows. Next & previous

Now here comes the funny part… My playlist contains about 88 songs. And the Next & previous buttons don’t work. It show’s 1/9
I open a playlist containing 1321 songs, the Next & previous does work.. it shows
No it doesn’t work. While typing this bug it works and it doesn’t….

Hi @Radio_Fiets, thanks for reporting this and for the photo, it helped. I can reproduce it here. I’m on an iPhone 15 Pro Max with an Apple Watch Series 9 and djay 5.6.9, and the next/previous buttons on the watch don’t work for me with Spotify playlists either. I tried Tidal, Beatport and djay Music too, and the buttons work fine with those, so it seems to be something with Spotify specifically.

Before I pass this along to the team, a few things would help me:

  1. Which iOS version is your iPhone on? You can find it under Settings > General > About.
  2. You mentioned it works sometimes and not others. When it does start working, do you remember what you did right before? Waited a bit, scrolled the playlist on the iPhone, closed and reopened the watch app, anything like that.
  3. Does it happen with all your Spotify playlists or just some of them?
  4. Your photo shows 10 / 133. Was that the big Spotify playlist with 1321 songs, and did you get to page 10 using the arrows?
  5. If you have any Apple Music, local files or other streaming services in djay, do the arrows work with those?

For now, browsing and loading tracks from the iPhone itself still works normally, so you’re not stuck while we look into it. Thanks!

I really don’t know what happen, it was so strange. All functions worked exact the two arrows. But now they seem to be working fine. And I didn’t even restart my iPhone. So I even can’t tell you why it is working now….

Thanks for taking the time to look into this. I really appreciate it.

Hmmm… okay. Glad to hear that it seems to be working again. I just tested my Apple Watch and it’s working fine now as well. Maybe there was some kind of issue on the Spotify server side of things.

I think the next previous features works for 23 hours

Thanks for your time. :star_struck:

You’re welcome @Radio_Fiets
