Application keeps on resetting everything - Windows

Yes, I have done all the troubleshooting linking PRO subscription(iPad) to a Gmail ‘My djay account’. And then on Windows, sign into that account, restored purchase, then getting the PRO features again(on Windows).

The issue will be after a day or so on Windows, running the djay Pro app will not recognize PRO features. Which again, I need to redo the whole troubleshooting process again.

I have not checked the Windows app since the weekend(after the wedding Saturday 3rd Jan2026) but will check that later today(Tuesday 6th Jan2026 and I’ll get back to you.

On a side note, is there a way to save and export the Windows “Djay Pro” app settings? It wasn’t a major issue troubleshooting and getting the PRO features back into the app, but more tweaking the settings back to what I previously had when everything was set and ready for the event.

Regarding your other question, there is no settings export option available in djay.

  1. Install and run “DebugView” app from Microsoft to access logs from djay Pro: https://learn.microsoft.com/sysinternals/downloads/debugview
  2. Run djay Pro and reproduce the issue
  3. Upload the logs from DebugView to your Google Drive/Dropbox, enable sharing permissions, then share a link to the files in a DM.

I’ve been having the same issue for the past month and tried all of the fixes. I am a legacy user and when I restore purchases everything works. But I have to restore each time and all my settings reset. Only issue is that I have to have wifi Everytime I launch up the software now. Is there an actual fix?

Hello everyone, we may have identified the issue here. Please note that if djay is installed on an external drive, the settings are not properly saved. Please try installing or moving your djay installation to the C drive and let us know if that solves your issue. Thanks!
