YOUR QUESTION:

  1. Why would my audio be slowing when connecting my Impulse T7 to Djay pro? I had to reset my computer recently and had redownloaded Hercules Impulse drivers. My configuration and ASIO settings are setup correctly but my platers are moving significantly slow (when I click cue, the song plays at appropriate speed, but when platers move it slows down to a crawl). The issue isn’t related to tempo, and I’m at a loss on how to fix this problem. Any help would be appreciated.

Hello! It’s been a week since my last reply. I’m going to consider this topic completed for now so I can focus on others. However, please feel free to respond and we can definitely revisit this. Thanks!

This happens with controllers that have motorized platters, because djay pro uses a different algorithm than Serato or virtual DJ. I don’t have the T7, but I have the Pioneer REV7 and I had the same problem. The solution is to use the MIDI Script Fix.

Thank you for the helpful comment man, resetting those ports fixed the issue for me. I appreciate it!

Thanks for sharing @djcanitamix.

Glad to hear that worked for you @Mac_Hebebrand

Hello everyone, we released a supplemental update to Windows djay 5.6.4 on April 10 which should fix the issue where MIDI controllers are not detected. We added a small workaround which should ensure that the Windows MIDI Service is started on app launch. I hope that helps!
