Hi again @Slak_Jaw ,
I noticed on my Android device that new tracks are not loaded in Automix mode when the smartphone is in lock screen mode. To clarify:
I go to Automix in the app, select a song from my Soundcloud playlist, and it works at first. The smartphone then sits there for 10 minutes, Automix works normally until the screen slowly darkens. When the screen turns off completely, Automix fades in the last loaded track, but then stops. Automix does not load new songs when the lock screen is active. When I deactivate the lock screen and click on ‘next song’ at the bottom, there is only an empty box and the loading symbol at the bottom. I then have to actively call up the playlist again and actively load the song again for it to continue.
Therefore, I would like to request that Automix also works on the lock screen or that the app requires a permanently activated display, although I would prefer the former.
Hi @JurGroove, sorry for the delayed reply. I have moved this to it’s own topic as this seems like a different issue. I have passed this onto our engineering to for further review and will report back here when I have more news. Thanks!
Hi @JanH, welcome to the Community! Sorry to hear you’re experiencing this issue. Our team is still working on this and we don’t have any updates to share yet. However, when things change, I will share them here. In the meantime, I recommend that you disable screen lock on your Pixel 9 Pro when using djay. Thanks!
Hello everyone, I just wanted to provide a quick update. Engineering has identified the issue and is working on a fix which should be included in an upcoming update (likely 5.6). Thanks!
