Automix skips right to next song after transition

On iOS, v5.6.7: When using automix, some tracks are skipped right after finishing the transition. The next track immediately plays. I think it started only after the latest update. Does anyone else observe that behavior recently?

1. I see that your Automix Playlist contains songs from multiple streaming services. Can you please confirm that you are logged into to all of these and that songs are manually loading as expected outside of Automix?

Thanks for the screenshots and additional info @feierlaune. This is very helpful.

1. Over the next few Automix runs, please note the source service of each track that gets skipped. Do the skips only ever hit TIDAL tracks, or do Spotify and SoundCloud tracks get skipped too?
2. Please run three separate Automix sessions on single-service playlists — one TIDAL-only, one Spotify-only, one SoundCloud-only — and report whether the skip occurs in each.
3. Do TIDAL tracks ever play through normally in Automix, or does every TIDAL track get dropped?
4. Does it matter what the outgoing track’s service is when a TIDAL track gets skipped?
5. After the skip, does audio come back immediately, or is there a period of silence? The recording ends about 4 seconds after the event with output at near-silence, so it’s hard tell.
6. Does the skip still happen if you unplug the FLX4 entirely and run Automix on the iPad alone
7. If you set Transition Type to a fixed type (e.g. Fade) rather than Automatic and run the same playlist, does the same issue occur?
8. Which djay version were you on before 5.6.7, and were you running this same playlist and these same Automix settings on it successfully?
9. Roughly how often does it happen — one transition in three, one in ten?

Great list, thanks! I saw the “smart fader“ mixer button was blinking during the automix, and was able to narrow it down to a MIDI command that was assigned to that button. It must have been auto-triggered via the automix? Anyways, since I removed the command (unfortunately don’t rememeber what it was exactly) we are back to normal
