# Backup and restore playlist to another IOS device

- Device model _(e.g. 2020 iPad Air 4th Gen)_: Ipad 12.9" pro - current and Ipad air 2 - lightning
- Version of operating system _(e.g. macOS 14.4.1)_: 17 and 15
- Version of djay _(e.g. 5.1.2)_: 5.1
- Hardware/controllers used _(e.g. Reloop Mixon 8 Pro)_: Mixon 8 and Beatpad 2

**Your question:**

Is there a way to backup a playlist on one IOS device and Restore it to another IOS device?  
Looked in the manual for IOS and did not find anything on this, or searching here.

Hi @kfarrell70, your My Collection playlists are all stored within the djaymedialibrary database file. You can manually copy this from one iOS device to another using the Files App and navigating to **On My iPad\>djay\>User Data**. For more details, please refer to the linked FAQ:
