Bottom song getting cut off in playlists

A) SUMMARY OF ISSUE:

  • last song in a playlist always cut off visually

i turn off / hide column that i don’t use, and set column size to fit my display, so that position slider thingy on the bottom disappeared.

thanks for the suggest but I just did that, and a phantom slider at the bottom still hides half the last track:

hmmm, that’s weird, no problems here

Nice and clean here too

I expect you’ve got the following setting set to “Always”? System Settings → Appearance…

Nope!
Just like yours in snapshot
Are u saying your issue is related to a system setting?

No, I think the issue you’re seeing is due to MacOS showing you a scroll bar. This can happen when you have a certain mouse or trackpad connected for example.

My scrollbar only shows up when I scroll on my trackpad.

But when my bluetooth mouse is connected I get persistent scrollbars….

If you changed setting to “When scrolling”, you’d get a better experience in Djay Pro I think.

thanks for the suggest but I changed this setting and problem persists

Hi @jpb83, I checked this on my setup with macOS 26.4.1, MacBook Air M4, and djay 5.6.4 and could not reproduce what you are seeing either.

  1. Check your Display Settings:
    A. Go to System Settings → Displays and check your resolution setting. If you’re on anything other than “Default for display,” try switching it. “More Space” scaling in particular can cause UI elements to miscalculate available vertical height, leaving the last row partially rendered.
  2. Check you Dock & Menu Bar Settings:
    A. If your Dock is set to auto-hide but is positioned at the bottom, macOS sometimes miscalculates the usable screen area passed to apps. Try temporarily setting Dock position to the side (Left or Right) and see if the cutoff disappears.
  3. Check you Accessibility Display Settings:
    A. Go to System Settings → Accessibility → Display and check:
Reduce Transparency — on or off?
    Increase Contrast — enabled?

thanks, but none of those worked

Hmmm… very strange. Not sure what else to suggest other than a fresh install to see if that clears up the issue. I suggest that you backup your djay Media Library database and any custom MIDI mappings, then uninstall djay, reboot your device, and reinstall the latest version of djay.
