No, I think the issue you’re seeing is due to MacOS showing you a scroll bar. This can happen when you have a certain mouse or trackpad connected for example.
My scrollbar only shows up when I scroll on my trackpad.
But when my bluetooth mouse is connected I get persistent scrollbars….
Hi @jpb83, I checked this on my setup with macOS 26.4.1, MacBook Air M4, and djay 5.6.4 and could not reproduce what you are seeing either.
Check your Display Settings:
A. Go to System Settings → Displays and check your resolution setting. If you’re on anything other than “Default for display,” try switching it. “More Space” scaling in particular can cause UI elements to miscalculate available vertical height, leaving the last row partially rendered.
Check you Dock & Menu Bar Settings:
A. If your Dock is set to auto-hide but is positioned at the bottom, macOS sometimes miscalculates the usable screen area passed to apps. Try temporarily setting Dock position to the side (Left or Right) and see if the cutoff disappears.
Check you Accessibility Display Settings:
A. Go to System Settings → Accessibility → Display and check: Reduce Transparency — on or off? Increase Contrast — enabled?
Hmmm… very strange. Not sure what else to suggest other than a fresh install to see if that clears up the issue. I suggest that you backup your djay Media Library database and any custom MIDI mappings, then uninstall djay, reboot your device, and reinstall the latest version of djay.
You can find the files above in the following locations:
iOS: using the Files App, navigate to Locations->On My iPhone/iPad->djay->User Data
Copy the files to a new location or external drive before uninstalling djay.
After reinstallation, you can simply copy these files back to their original locations to maintain your Hot Cues, Saved Loops, My Collection Playlists, History and Queue.
Hello! It’s been a week since my last reply. I’m going to consider this topic completed for now so I can focus on others. However, please feel free to respond and we can definitely revisit this. Thanks!
