Many times in a track there are parts that we want to skip, I suggest having a cue point that will skip automatically to the next cue point, it can be marked as “s” instead of a triangle.
Thanks

Do you need it that often? I don’t think I’ve ever missed it, nor do I know it from my (DJ) environment, but the requirements can of course be different. An additional option to cover this too would certainly not be wrong.

Thanks for the suggestion @dimension7. Good idea. I have forwarded this to the dev team for consideration.

Basically, ability to script what happens upon reaching the cue point is best. Could be a jump to a different designated cue point or a loop. Like sometimes you jump to the intro melody right after the song outro

YES!

That would be an awesome option!
A new kind of CUE point - “ **skip in** ” & **skip out** “””

Interesting innovative solution.

I suggested making Quantize - Beat Jump (Skip forward & backward).
Somewhat similar to the option you are talking about.

I want to skip a part of the track. I turn on the Quantize option (4) for Skip. When I press skip forward 64 then the track skips forward 64 beats not when I pressed the button, but based on the Quantize setting. In my case it is = 4. This works great with CUE points. Many years ago I posted a method of jumping to a cue point manually.

Would be great if there was a way to set this automatically.
