I was playing a wedding last night when all hell broke loose (tech wise, LUCKILY internally…)
I was playing tunes using my DDJ sx plus an external CDJ (used for backup in situations like this)
The DDJ sx (seemingly randomly) just cut out all connectively with DJay Pro via USB and I was left with just the master output on my DDJ so mic and my external CDJ luckily still worked. I managed to use a RCA to audio and route the audio to the DDJ for output to speakers and ruggedly use my laptop to DJ the gig.
I tried restarting the laptop and Djay pro which worked but still had another hardware shut down… overall, a lot of issues that I couldn’t fully document as I had to keep music playing during the dance set!
Anyone had similar - please help … I really don’t want to throw out my DDJ sx but have to have reliability!
