Before I spend more time than I anticipated frustratingly mapping a non native device, does anyone have a custom map for a DDJ XP1 they could share with me? There is a fileshare link on an older thread but it seems to have been removed.

Thanks Slak_Jaw. I actually tried them before posting on this community. The XP1/2 map on there which is for IOS doesn’t work for XP1, the USBID is for an XP2. I couldn’t figure out how to change it and save it as a DJAYMIDIMAPPING File.
So anyway I decided to start mapping myself and it’s going ok so far, maybe about 50% done. One issue I cant figure out is when I press shift to go to delete a hot cue pad all the pads loose their illumination ? Tried fiddling about with advanced midi out settings for the shift key but nothing working so far ? Any help appreciated.

Regarding the LEDs, these are controller via the MIDI Out section where the Min Value controls the LED Off color (when the button is not being pressed) and the Max Value controls the LED On color (when the button is pressed). Depending in the hardware, you may or may not be able to have separate LED control on the Shift layer. I suspect this is the case with the XP1. I hope that helps!
