Disabled Jogwheel due to MIDI mapping

Hi!

I wanted to give you a bug report, since it’s actually super simple to correct

I use a Numark MixTrack Pro 3 with the latests versions of Djay, original Algoriddim mapping, and the same bug occurs on both my iPad and MacBook Pro :
Sometimes, the side of the jogwheel used to beatmatch doesn’t respond, and the only way to “unlock it” is to briefly touch the top of the jogwheel.

It got me crazy, but I now found the problem, and therefore its fix.

When I want to move quickly around the track, I do the following actions :

  • put my hand on the jogwheel (which sends a touch message)
  • press the shift button
  • turn the jogwheel as desired
  • release the jogwheel (which sends a shifted touch message, but doesn’t do anything in the midi mapping)
  • release the shift button.

This seems to works well, but at this moment, Djay misses the information that I’ve released the touch surface.

So I easily fixed the bug on my side : I’ve added into the midi configuration the “jogwheel touch” while shift is pressed.

Now it works fine, but I was hoping you could update the midi mapping for other users !
(And maybe there’s the same bug with other controllers, but I can’t test those)

Thanks !

Best
Felix
