1. Hello group, I would like to ask you something about Djay pro in dvs mode. Having a turntable and a behringer uca222 sound card available I wanted to try the dvs and I got an algorithm timecode disc. I thought it worked with my left ddj, instead: only with the sound card it works and it calibrates, when I turn on the left ddj it takes the main channels and obviously it no longer lets me control the timecode from the turntable. I don’t know if I can do anything about it, in case someone can help me I would be grateful.

Hi @FabiJ93, what you’re running into is a limit of this setup, not a fault with your gear. On iPad, djay can only use one audio device at a time. When the DDJ-SX powers up, it takes over as the audio interface, and the UCA222 input, along with your timecode, drops out. The original DDJ-SX also doesn’t send its phono/line inputs to djay over USB, so the controller can’t read the timecode itself.

You can still try running it this way, with the UCA222 handling all the audio and the DDJ-SX used only for control:

1. Connect and power on the DDJ-SX first.
2. Connect the UCA222 last.
3. In **Dashboard \> Settings \> Audio Devices** , make sure **Main Output** is set to the UCA222.
4. In **Dashboard \> Settings \> DVS** , choose the UCA222 input for your deck and tap **Calibrate** again.

In this setup your sound comes out of the UCA222 instead of the DDJ-SX, so you won’t have separate headphone cueing. Let me know how it goes!
