First of all
I am sorry I am very new so don’t know how to describe well …. and English is not my first language if someone knows what I mean and know how to fix this issue please teach me why and how to solve it

So before I was using controller , so when I practice on controller ( DDJ-rev1)
I just plug in and it’s internal mixer mode
I don’t have to do any audio advices setting.
Recently I start practicing on DVS mode as well.
( At friend’s venue , I haven’t bought my own gear yet so there are also CDJ are connected to the mixer ,
So I am wondering will it be possible it confuses the iPad when plug in ??? )
the mixer is S7, so should be plug-and -play.
But recently I am facing some issues is
When switching Dj, we had to change channel ( for an example Phono ( previous DJ ) to channel A( me ) )
The mixer mode on my iPad keeps changing back to“ internal”
when I finished set up Deck1 for my turn ( external , S7) ,
And when the previous Dj finished playing Deck2, I want to set up Deck 2 ( so I switched Deck 2’s channel …
Deck 1 ‘s setting will be reset to internal
It makes the set up very rush, sometimes even the sound stopped
( I’m using NEO cable and just bought , so it wi be impossible it’s the cable , connection problem )
No one around me is using Algoriddim DjayPro so no one knows why this happened .. and they all end up saying “” since iPad is not stable you should just use PC + serato or other software like everybody “
I do not want to use to other devices and software just because they know those set up is definitely working.
I love using DjayPro + iPad
and if it supports iOS , I believe it will work.
( it worked, just the setting doesn’t stay )
I wonder is my audio setting is wrong or the version problem …>*<
I wish I can continue using DVS mode with my currently set up , so hope I can find out how to fix this.

Eventually does it work when you finish setup?
The S7, just like my Rane 70, has 2 USB inputs (A and B). If the other dj is on serato on USB port A (Computer 1), then you can plug your ipad with djay on USB port B (Computer 2). The input selector knob on both sides of the mixer would be on Computer 1 (not phono, not line, not computer 2).
Theoretically: The first dj would be playing a song on channel 1 (left side), with the left side input selector knob on Computer 1, while you cue up a song on deck 2 of djay and switch the right side input selector on the S7 to Computer 2. At this time first dj’s serato screen should display deck 2 as “In Use”, and your djay should be able to control the right CDJ or Technics and get the song playing into the S7.
Then eventually you can switch the left input selector to Computer 2 also.
Now, are you saying djay reverts to internal mixer mode at what point? And yes, music stops momentarily when mixer mode changes, or when sound settings change. That’s something we have to live with for now.

I have read it properly and since I didn’t know what exactly the reason caused the problem, I also tried set it up using on another S7.
now I seems to work

the setting is alll following the set up manual.
And once DVS it’s been calibrated once
I didn’t think I have to calibrate again every time I removed my device, but it happened and I had to always do again my iPad set up
since I didn’t know what exactly the reason caused the problem, I also tried set it up using on another S7.
Few days ago bought my own S7
and now it worked … very very strange
about my issue I posted here, I kind of found out the reason now but didn’t know how to fix it
Apparently , when I set up for DVS mode
( external )
if the mixer ( S7)
is connected to CDJ ( using LINE channel
my iPad gets confused
every time when the mixer is switched to LINE ︎ CDJ
my iPod will automatically reset to internal
( which DVS mode setup will disappeared
And when I switch back to A( or B)
I have to set up for external again and DVS mode ……
if my next DJ is is using PHONO
From channel A switch to PHONO,
will pass through LINE
and setting will be reset
So my music will stop ……..
Is there anyway
to make my iPad don’t react to CDJ
after I set up for external + DVS mode already
Is this a bug for iOS Djay Pro or my setting problem …?it’s very scary

When S7 itself where was no problem
The problem is when the there is S7 then the
LINE channel also connected with CDJ.
