Entire Serato DJ Pro Library Columns feature

The most important library columns such as year, genre, comments, grouping, label, composer, remixer included by default in other DJs software like Serato DJ Pro, Virtual DJ, Rekordbox, Library Management software such as Mixo, Lexicon and streaming platforms such as Tidal, Apple Music are not available in djay Pro Library Browser/View. Therefore, when converting our library in DJ Conversion Utility Streaming platform to keep valuable metadata information such as cues, loops, beatgrid, and tags that information is not transferred to djay Pro.

Imagine spending 15 years creating a library in Serato DJ Pro but we have to manually recreate these columns in djay Pro because we lose the metadata during the library conversion or transfer. Serato, Rekordbox, Virtual DJ, Mixo, Lexicon for example have all these library columns available by default for both local and streaming files. Make all the columns in Serato DJ Pro available as standard in djay Pro since most DJS are switching from Serato DJ Pro. I don’t know one DJ in this world that doesn’t use genre and year metadata for even basic mixing. We need all the library columns available by default in Serato copied into djay Pro integrated library browser and My Collection so when we drag songs from the library browser to playlists in My Collection the metadata stays the same.

Thanks for the suggestion @djshiny. I’ll share this with the devs for consideration.

Can you please confirm which platform you are using (iOS, macOS, Windows, Android) and which music Source (My Collection, Apple Music Stream, Local Music, Spotify, etc.)? In My Collection on macOS if you R-Click on the top row of the library you can access Year, Genre, Comments, Grouping, Label, Composer and several other options.

It’s very similar to this on Windows as well.

Have you ACTUALLY used djay?
This sounds like a blindman’s post - Nothing of the sort is missing in djay. AND I moved my 16000track rekordbox library onto djay 4yrs ago using ATGR’s Dj Conversion Utility and all worked fine. All those library parametes, including Mixed in Key’s “Energy Levels” are displayed in djay.
Take time and learn djay - or ask for help
Sorry for the intrusion, felt compelled

Thanks for the input @Armigo

Hello! It’s been a week since my last reply. I’m going to consider this topic completed for now so I can focus on others. However, please feel free to respond and we can definitely revisit this. Thanks!
