error parsing m4a on Galaxy Tab A, Android 7.0

Hi! I just installed DJay 2 on my Samsung Galaxy Tab A Tablat with Android 7.0. Brand New Machine. When I try to play m4a files I get the error message “error parsing m4a file”
The machine is brand new, I also installed VLC Player which does play those m4a’s without any issue. What can I do?
