Can we get a feature that gives more control over how effects are applied to individual stems? Right now, every stem automatically gets hit with echo, which can sound messy, especially on drums or instrumentals that work better clean.
Two ideas that could fix this:
1. Custom Effect Toggles
Add the option for simple on and off switches per stem with no forced effects. Let us choose where we want echo or reverb and where we don’t. For example, keep vocals wet but let drums, bass, or instruments stay completely dry.
2. Stop Effect
Bring in a dedicated stop or cut effect to make transitions sharper and more creative. It would give DJs another clean way to break or reset a track during a mix.
Having that level of customization would tighten sets, make mixes cleaner, and allow for more personal, professional control over every element.
Hi @Owe_Marley, thanks for the suggestion, but are you aware that you can route all of the existing Manual FX to individual Neural Mix parts? The Manual FX have more granular control. Please have a look and let me know if this meets your needs or not.
Yeah I thought so too, but I couldn’t find it. The only thing I could see was the section shown in the screenshot.
Thanks, I found it and gave it a go, but it’s not really working how I expected. I’m trying to route a vinyl stop effect, and the closest thing is the break stop on the instrumental stem when Neural Mix is set to Acapella, but it’s not quite reacting right. Seems like the mute FX section might be overriding it. I’ve tried toggling it on and off but still can’t get the result I’m after.
If the effects were grouped and listed per stem, it might make it easier for users to find and fine tune them. I also think when Serato users give DJ Pro a try and see that level of control, it’d really stand out in a huge way. Just a thought, but it’d be awesome to see this added please
