# Filter stem routing

- Device model: M1 macbook
- Version of operating system: 26.6.2
- Version of djay: 5.6.8
- Hardware/controllers used: Mixtour Pro

YOUR QUESTION:

1. Is it possible to route the filter through selected stems? There is the ‘filter’ effect, but that’s ineffective especially if used on individual stems, low resonance and thinnish.

PS.

It could be done with instant doubles and use the filter on one deck with the desired stems activated to play, but I’m looking for a stem assignment like is possible for the effects, bounce loops, etc.

Hi @Brainbox, currently it’s not possible to apply the main deck filters to a specific Neural Mix part. However, you could use one of the Filter FX like Lowpass, Highpass, Bandpass, Auto Filter or LoFi and then route that effect to one of the Neural Mix parts.
