d’avance merci

**ENGLISH TRANSLATION:**

I am reaching out to this forum to report an issue I’m experiencing:

I recently purchased a Pioneer FLX-10 and am using djay (with both the hardware and software running the latest versions).

I tried using the 4-deck setup, but I’m encountering a problem with Deck 4:

When I move the volume fader, there is no response in the software.

I suspect I need to replace the fader (DVC1035); do you have any information on this?

Thanks in advance.

Video attached.

Hi @DJGL02, can you please share your actual versions numbers instead of latest?

**Device Model** (ex. 2020 iPad Air 4th Gen):
**Version of operating system** (ex. iOS 17.3.1):
**Version of djay** (ex. 5.1.3):
**Hardware Firmware Version** (ex. 2.7):

You could also check in djay’s MIDI Learn Tool to see if it is responding to the fader movement:

> **[Mapping a MIDI device | Algoriddim Support](https://help.algoriddim.com/user-manual/djay-pro-mac/midi/mapping)**
>
> If you're not using a supported MIDI controller, MIDI mapping gives you full control over how your hardware interacts with djay Pro. You can assign every button, knob, and fader to the functions you use most. This flexibility lets you shape djay...

Alternatively, you could test with a MIDI monitor app to see if the hardware is sending MIDI signals outside of djay: [snoize: MIDI Monitor](https://www.snoize.com/MIDIMonitor/)

Thanks @DJGL02. Are you seeing in MIDI response I djay’s MIDI Learn Tool or in MIDI Monitor? If not, then your fader is likely in need of repair or replacement.
