Just intrigued to find out if other FLX10 owners are internal or external? Does going external reduce any system load? Would I lose any functionality other than things like auto gain, etc. I’m not that fussed about auto gain.
Hi @discoian, the FLX10 is an Internal Mixer Mode device. You must use internal mode for proper functionality with djay.

Will it work in External Mixer mode at all? Internal Mixer mode is a deal breaker. No hardware fx, no thank you.
It’s an internal mixer mode only device. It cannot be used in external mixer mode.
But what about pioneers amazing fx suite?
This is controlled by the hardware manufacturer - it’s not an optional setting.
