Future Intel Mac compatibility

Is it true that the next version of DjayPro will not be compatible with Intel Macs? :thinking:

How will the transition be handled? Will it be possible to continue using the current version on an Intel Mac? :face_holding_back_tears:

Source of this rumor?
Though it’s true we the intels are slowly becoming dinosaurs with djay. My laptop functions like a giant on serato, not a single glitch, but on djay, it sometimes farts.

Rumor came from a friend who read a comment from a supposed beta tester.

Well, the app is getting heavier and heavier for intels…the M-series is the way to go. In fact the most future-proof option is to have the M5 now

Hi @Scoop, perhaps this rumor comes from Apple announcing that macOS 27 will drop Intel support. We have no plans to drop Intel support for djay.
