FX not playing on when vol slider goes down

A) SUMMARY OF ISSUE:

  • on ipad pro M1 when the volume slider from a deck goes down the FX i shoos should play on but it stop to.
    this is not the first time it happens . i have play it without any midi connections so via ipad speakers but have the same results. no FX for instance pingpong delay stops playing atonce when i put the slider quickly down. no matter wat deck i choose 2 or 4 decks.

  • restarted a few times but did not help.

Hi @johnnyboyx, in the djay Settings>Sound>Mixer>FX Routing please enable Post-Fader.

Also, please note that Post-Fader FX are not supported when using Neural Mix.

in 4 Decks mode, i notes that the tail is only not present on FX1 D1 D2 D4, on D3 it works oke.

al other FX are working cocrectly

in pro mode, both FX1 no tail

Thanks for the video @johnnyboyx. This is very helpful. This is expected behaviour as I briefly explained earlier.

  1. As stated above, post-fader FX are not supported when using Neural Mix.
  2. You need to change the FX routing for Deck 1 and Deck 2 from the Neural Mix parts to the full track.
  3. You will know that FX are being applied to the full track when ton FX ON button is illuminated in Blue instead of in Yellow.
