Ipad 10th generation
DDJ REV1
DDJ Wego 2
Djay Pro Latest version
Hi guys! I’ve come acroos a very strange behaviour in Djay Pro. I was normally using it with the Terminal Mix 8, and even with other smaller controllers. Using Hardware Mode or 4 Deck mode, I was able to see the 3 FXs on the Manual FX session.
Athough, I started using a DDJ REV1 recently and the FX3 simply dessapeared from the screen, leaving me only with FXs 1 and 2.
I tried to use an old DDJ Wego 2 that I still have and the behaviour was the same. I didn’t try to use other controllers, but I tried changing from one mode to another, to see what happened. In Pro Mode, or any other 2 deck mode, the FX3 was there. But switching back to any 4 deck mode, FX3 was gone again.
Hi @Carlos_Alexandre_Cam, Thanks for the details about the issue and your setup - this is very helpful. Good catch! I was able to replicate this on my setup and have passed this onto the dev team. I’ll report back when I have more news. Thanks!

Hello in iOS versions of the app, specifically iPad, with least update in both 4 deck hardware mode and 4 deck mode one can only see 2 effects instead of 3 in FX tabs. Given the reloop mixon 8 is the most dedicated controller for djay and features 3 knobs, this is a very awkward change as it results is decreased functionality with the hardware that the modes use it the most.
Please bring back 3 fx visible in these modes! I don’t think any meanginful visual spacing or clarity was gained either by going to two instead of 3.
Hi @17mics, please use search before creating new topics. I have merged your new topic with this existing one. This is a known issue that our team is aware of. Thanks!
Hi, @Slak_Jaw . I know that you told me that you’ll share the news when you have it. But it’s been 8 days since you passed our claim to the development team. Can you double chack with them? It shouldn’t be so difficult to bring the FX3 back in the screen, it’s always been there…
Hi @Slak_Jaw , I tested here and still seeing only 2 FXs. I tried closing and reopenning the software twice, but still the same.
Please pass this claim to the Dev team. In my opinion, it’s taking too long to solve a simple problem, because the 3 FXs were always there…
Yes, you could try a fresh djay installation to see if that clears up the issue. I suggest that you backup your djay Media Library database and any custom MIDI mappings, then uninstall djay, reboot your device, and reinstall the latest version of djay from the official Apple App Store.
You can find the files above in the following location: using the Files App, navigate to Locations->On My iPhone/iPad->djay->User Data
After reinstallation, you can simply copy these files back to their original locations to maintain your Hot Cues, Saved Loops, My Collection Playlists, History and Queue.
