Greyed out files after Rekordbox import

The new export from Rekordbox XML is fantastic - thanks so much to Algoriddim for implementing it.

It works perfectly for me, except for that any files held locally in dropbox folders are greyed out and I can’t load them.

If I select “show in finder” nothing happens. They definitely exist because I can do “show in finder” in Rekordbox and it works.

Any ideas?

Note I’m on Mac OSx sonoma and I have the newest version of Djay

Hi @Tony123, please make sure that djay has full access to those folders.

Great! That fixed it - I had to allow access to all files (I couldn’t find any way on a Mac to allow access to a specific folder) but that seemed to fix it.

Actually this did fix it for most files, but some are still greyed out.

For these tunes, when I do “show in finder” in rekordbox, they exist, but they are greyed out in Djay and when I click “show in finder” there, nothing happens.

Any further ideas?

Thanks for the follow up @Tony123. Please try the following:

Find the file in finder, drag n drop onto deck and let it fully load (re-read waveform). Drag it again and load on same deck. Do this twice per track for all of those tracks and let me know if that helps.

Sorry that didn’t help @Tony123. I can’t think of anything else to try.
