Any chance of getting a 1080p HD output from my Vjay app any time soon, even a 1280x720 will do…?

The highest output resolution is currently limited due to performance reasons. Our developers are looking for ways to tweak it even more.
Is there a way to change the recording setting to 720p? And not at 640x360… 720p is 1280 x 720 and is an HD format. Most digital video is either 720p or 1920 x 1080. 640x360 is half of 720p.
I suspect that writing to disc at 720p is too taxing on the cpu for a real time video app, but thought i’d ask
